Vitara V 20 mg tablets are a medication that is administered orally to men who are suffering from erectile dysfunction. These tablets are selective inhibitors of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP)-specific phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5).
Vitara v 20 is used in the treatment of erectile dysfunction. It can also be used for renal and hepatic impairment with a prescription from a doctor.
The most common side effect for Vitara v 20 includes; a headache, flushing, dyspepsia, rhinitis, sudden hearing loss, cardiovascular effects, and QT prolongation.
There are other less common side effects and they include: arm, back or jaw pain, chest pain, chilies, cold sweats, confusion, confusion, blindness, fainting, dizziness, difficulties with swallowing, problems with elaborate breathing, headache, nausea, pounding of the ears, tearing and vomiting
Before taking the drugs, let the doctor conduct an evaluation test to know the underlying cause of the erectile dysfunction.
In case you have a cardiovascular or blood pressure disease make sure to share that with your doctor or physician.
Do not use the drug with alcohol and grapefruits as they may enhance the side effects and you should not stop using the drug without consulting your doctor.
For most patients, the recommended starting dose of Vitara V is 10 mg, taken orally, as needed, approximately 60 minutes before sexual activity. The dose may be increased to a maximum recommended dose of 20 mg or decreased to 5 mg based on efficacy and side effects. The maximum recommended dosing frequency is once per day. Sexual stimulation is required for a response to treatment.
